Julie has over 20 years experience creating and executing special events, product launches, incentive programs, reward and recognition programs and trade and consumer shows for a wide variety of Fortune 500 clients. She has an exceptional track record, and has formed solid relationships with both her clients and her suppliers.

Julie’s strategic meeting management expertise has ensured that her clients enjoy extraordinary and memorable events, conveying the desired message through creative themes, décor, and entertainment.

Suzanne has been in the business events industry for 20+ years with a background in catering operations, sales for the convention centre world and training programs. Suzanne loves to create order out of chaos.  

A strategist and problem-solver, Suzanne’s emphasis on results comes from her extensive experience in business events industry. Suzanne’s professional and focused approach has made her an industry leader, belonging to Meetings Professional International, Toronto Chapter for 18 years with 6 years experience on the Board including her role as Chapter President. Katrina Wyer

Katina Wyer joins us from the Georgian College Event Management Program and is thrilled to be working in the industry. She brings with her experience in promotions, event planning and customer service. Formerly employed by the leading bank in customer service, Katrina takes pride in always delivering the utmost in customer service. Eager to learn and with a passion for events Katrina is always prepared to try new things and work hard for clients to have everything they need to make their events memorable! Her attention to detail and eye for creativity are the reasons she knew she belonged in the events industry. Katrina is responsible for the administration of the Ruby Sky office and assists with client projects from proposals, planning and execution on site.

Ryan Oliver
Chief Talent Scout

Juno-nominated tenor saxophonist Ryan Oliver honed his craft living on Canada’s west coast, and in Amsterdam, Toronto and New York.  He has maintained a busy schedule as one of Canada’s most in-demand saxophonists, recently releasing his latest recording, Strive!, featuring jazz legend Victor Lewis. Oliver has toured India, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and North America with the eclectic group, The Shuffle Demons.  He is a member of Juno-award-winning Aboriginal blues/rock performer Derek Miller’s group, and appears on Miller’s most recent recording, featuring Stevie Ray Vaughn’s rhythm section Double Trouble and Willie Nelson.  Oliver is also a member of the house band for Miller’s television series, Guilt Free Zone, airing on the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network.

Oliver’s debut recording, Convergence, was selected by CODA Magazine as one of the top 10 Canadian jazz releases of 2007.  He has received numerous Canada and Ontario Arts Council grants and was nominated for the 2013 Prix De Jazz at the Montreal Jazz Festival.  He maintains a weekly residency with Organic, and is a member of The Cookers, a heavily touring, hard-bop quintet. Oliver’s driving, melodic inventiveness, charismatic sound and swinging time feel light up bandstands wherever he plays.

Ryan joins the Ruby Sky team as our Chief Talent Scout, honing his musical skills and wide reaching connections in the industry, he’s able to assist Ruby Sky by coordinating the best and most unique talent in our region, providing incredible entertainment for our client’s events.
